Hi Everybody,

This my first posting in this forum, so please go gently on me. I've just acquired, and awaiting delivery, of an SPV E100 which apparently has ROM ver 1.6 already loaded. However I won't be getting a user guide with it and was rather hoping somebody could point me in the right direction to download a pdf version from somewhere. I am ware that user guide generally are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard, but was hoping for something informative in getting me started.

I've read the posting 'First 48 hrs.........' and did find it illuminating, but would prefer a hardcopy, pdf thing to wade through to get started.

Having never 'played' with an SPV before, but have a 'techie' background I can appreciate the level of knowledge available within this forum.

Looking forward to a positive response and a fun time with my new (used) SPV E100, but expect regular postings as I'm sure to come unstuck at some point........ :?:

Welcome to the forum and to the Smartphone (capital S because Windows OS :( ) experience :P

I didn't have one myself but the E100 was popular with members here. I'm pretty sure that very soon you'll be wanting to upgrade to a newer model and there is a fantastic choice available these days. This forum is clearly the best place to be for information on all the alternatives :lol:

Back to the point : I'm told direct links don't always work so will point you to the Orange website where you click on 'Get help using your phone' then select Orange-pay monthly-SPV E100.

Now click on 'Choose another phone' and select SPV because the E100 doesn't have the 'download user guide' option :?:

You can now get the PDF user manual - the original SPV wasn't much different to the E100 so most of it will be the same.
