Using TCPMP and receiving text or call

Hi all,

I have been using TCPMP and find it really good. One question I seem to have a problem with is :

When I am playing an audio file, if I get a text message the sound goes really quiet, and the only way I have found of putting the volume back up is by switching the phone off and back on again.

I have tried turning the volume back up, using the joystick, but even when it is up as far as it can go, still really quiet. Once it has been rebooted, everything is fine again.

This is being used on a SPV C500.

I use TCPMP (on a C500) and when I get a text, the sound goes quieter/judders for a short while but the volume then returns to as it was previously.

Not sure why you are getting your problem.

Hi Guys,

I have had the same problem for months on my C500. Everytime I get a text the sound then goes quiet. The only sound that is still loud is the text message sound. Even Tom Tom goes quiet. I've found if you make a phone call it gets loud again. I just call my voice mail and hang up, seems to work. I would do a hard reset to see if that sorts it out but it would be over the top for just that.

Cheers, Rob.

Have you tried to check "Use system volume" in Settings > Advanced?
