I had two problems, but have solved one of them by browsing the site and using that first 48 hours with your phone thing. Most useful - thanks very much. Second problem I have tried searching for, but cannot find the answer. Apologies if I have missed it. I like to use mp3's as ringtones but they are very large and use up lots of space. The first 48 hour post says that you can use ringtones from the memory card but that doesn't seem to work with me. Can anyone help? The second thing isusing .wav's as message notifications etc. They used to work on my C500 but with my C550 they just play as a little bleep not the actual .wav sound. Again, any help would be appreciated.

I placed 6mp3's on my storage card. and 1 mp3 of 24 secs on my normal storage. BUT I cant use them as a ringtone. I don't know how to get them in the ringtone list. Can anyone please help? because I hate the standard ringtones :cry:

Guest nevawlkalone Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 All ringtones must be stored in the file path storage\application data\sounds on the phone otherwise the phone will not pick them up, (unless someone can prove otherwise) As for the .wav sounds not working, im not to sure why that is! It could be the way they where converted. Did you have them in mp3 format first???

What do I have to do with them? How can I install them? I've also heard there are Windows Mobile Media Player skins. Are those also for the C550? Ow and I'm sorry for asking so much.. but I'm a BIG noob with those SPV's... :cry:
