Guest gzrecoil Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 (edited) So this apparently looks like the big thing over in Korea. Specifically : http://www.mypidion.com/bluebird_E/product...00/bm200_01.htm http://www.slashphone.com/71/2675.html Check that out, beautiful phone. Appears to be cdma, but I can not find out how to get my hands on this anywhere on the web, if at all. Their phones are nowhere to be found outside of Japan. I was thinking running Windows CE 5.0 that it would maybe be easy to port to the English language, but are the bands different? I would love to see this phone in gprs, I mean quite a few of their phones look beautiful, nothing like them in America. As I said though, impossible to find! I'm jealous, I want one of the phones from Korea :/ Most phones in America are trash o_0. Trying to replace this SMT-5600, had it for too long, too slow, too bleh. Outdated. Just need something new. Any comments? -Ryan Edited October 6, 2005 by gzrecoil
Guest Amiroquai Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 (edited) Looks nice but I wouldn't call it a smartphone ,it's obviously small but only when compared to the rest in it's class (pda like phones). At 2.4 x 4.8 x 0.7 inches, it's hardly considered pocketable to me... I'd pick a Tornado based smartphone (which isn't really lagging behind by much...) over this phone, otherwise I'd just go for an Imate Jam or something similar (if portability didn't mean much to me and I needed the extra power). I wonder how the price of this phone compares to others... Edited October 6, 2005 by Amiroquai
Guest gzrecoil Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 The Jam to my eye makes me puke, I had the treo 600 back in the day and it was a p.o.s. Maybe looking forward to the 700, and the Tornado I heard offers slight performance enhancements with the new OS but it still is pretty laggy when it comes to using multiple applications.
