Guest Bint Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 Is it possible to extract a .hme homescreen? I have found some homescreens I like, but they always seem to lack something small, so i'd like to adjust them to my own needs. But I don't know if and how these hme's can be adjusted (ruttensoft doesn't seem to have an import function, although you can import the color scheme)
Guest nevawlkalone Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 What i the homescreen saved as??? .rar .cab .zip??
Guest Bint Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 What i the homescreen saved as??? .rar .cab .zip?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> just a .hme file (i can't find the path where it stores the files after installing the theme on the phone either)
Guest chucky.egg Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 Rename them to zip files and extract them Then you need to view the one file in there that has a regular extn (I can't remember what it is right now) and it will tell you the names of the other files. You can then rename each file.

Baisically if rename the file *****.home.xml then it shol give you the options to customise it. if not send me the file n ill give it a shot!!!

The .xml tells me the real names of the files (home.xml and to jpegs) Thanx alot :o Edited October 6, 2005 by Bint
