Guest thesavant Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I've been editing homescreens with the Ruttensoft program, but it does not put a pic behind the contacts screen. How do I do that? I thought that I found a way using PHM editor, but when I installed the PHM regedit I could not find the PHM regedit exe. All it had was a setup exe that installed and uninstalled programs to and from my phone. Does anyone know how to help me? Thanks!
Guest simon211175 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I use mobile registry editor on my PC to edit the registry of my phone. You should be able to find a link for it on here I think. The easiest way to change the image is to set the registry to a specific location/file, and then always save your new images there. For example: HKLM,Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSCONTACTS, BKBitmapFile,, \Storage\Application Data\Home\contacts.gif Alternatively, you could go to the next step of theming and get rid of Ruttensoft's program and do the whole thing manually. there are some good tutorials in this forum, and lots more scope for a good theme.

Now I have another question... Since I'm here editing my registry which registry item is the one that will allow me to permanently alter the pic in my start menu behind my programs?
