Guest wishgiver Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 :o Hi can anyone help me with the settings to get Abidia to log on to my ebay account. I have down loaded and intalled correctly the programme and it runs OK I have selected ebay uk entered my username and password and verified it I have also entered the given trial pass word AWS3-DEMO. but whenever I try to log / sync in I get the message Network connection sending and then after a few seconds it returns to the main screen and nothing has happened. I can use my GPRS logging on to the internet as normal so there doesnt seem to be a problem there and my fizz traveller logs in and downloads infomation OK. I also have no problem logging in tomy email accounts I would love to be able to make this software work as it is just what I need as I am Away from my PC very often when auctions are nearing compleation and would be pleased to purchase the full version if I can only get the thing to work any advice much appreciated Thanks
Guest usdiver Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Hi, I recently posted the same topic but only had 18 views and no replies. I've had the same problem, but what I think you will have to do is actally subscribe to them....which personally I wouldn't simply because I've sent 2 or 3 different e mails asking for support and how to go about getting the subscription, and if I did it would be the one time subscription. I'm afraid we are stuck for now...but if I ever find a solution I will let you know. I know I'm NOT giving them my money BEFORE I have a proper sample of the goods, or at least communication from the company.
Guest James Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 how about trying to connect using a active sync pass through internet connection fro you PC? does that work?

Guest martin Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Abidia software works fine on my C500 although I can't remember if I've ever registered to the website. This is all I did to get it working. You use the same username/password as for logging into MyEbay. goto http://www.abidia.com Click Install on top menu bar Click PC installer on left column In Abidia Wireless for ebay box - click Smartphone Click PC Install Load Abidia Wirless on Smartphone Menu-Options-Account Site (ebay country) Username: (ebay user id) password: (ebay password) Verify : (ebay password) Done Sync - full sync

Guest usdiver Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I've tried that, AND the over the air installer. It is sending out a signal and dialing, costing me credit, but just keeps dialing out and does not get a response...therefore costing even more credit. I would really like to see this work, but not going to do a subscription if there isn't any support from the company. Thanks Martin and good luck wish...guess I'll have to keep trying
