Issues receiving Bluetooth beams on M500

I've been happily running my M500 with the Big Storage ROM for about two months now, and couldn't be happier with it. It's been stable, has happily run all my apps and given me lots (relatively) of memory to play with.

But I can't seem to get the stupid thing to receive bluetooth beams from other phones. I had it Activesyncing nicely with my laptop (before that went bang) and can send files like there's no tomorrow, but if someone tries to send me something the M500 doesn't do a thing and the sender ends up at a "sending failed" screen. Tried with several phones (and a PC) and nothing on any of them.

I've got bluetooth turned on, I've tried discoverable and not, I've got "Receive all incoming beams" turned on and I've searched MoDaCo.... all to no avail.

One possible culprit is in the Bluetooth settings (under Settings), and in COM ports, if I click on New Incoming Port, it gives me a blank drop down box and won't let me click anything other than Cancel.

I realise changing ROM's was on my own head and happy enough if this is the price, but if anyone has got receiving sorted I really would appreciate a hand.

Sorry pal can't help on this note.

The only problem I am having is that it seems MUCH slower than my C500. Anyone know of a file explorer we can get for it. I liked the fact that the SmartExplorer showed you a progress bar too...
