Hard reset - Now GPRS Always on!

Hi,

Reset my old black c500 to sell it (got a new silver one from wife, who sadly has went to the darkside and got a Samsung D600).

Done a soft reset "Clear Storage" and also a hard reset using the 2 soft keys & power button.

However everytime I switch the phone on now it connects to GPRS. G above the strength meter.

I have tried to application unlock the phone by using the website, and then when that failed 100 times, I downloaded the Actionregistration - which freezes on phone (due to GPRS autoconnecting?)

I need to do this to unlock the network to sell it.

Any suggestions of where to start?

I have also noticed that it will not keep its connection with the PC via the usb cable for more than 30 secs.
