Guest orangejuice Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Did anybody get their custom sounds (wav,mid,mp3,wma) working as a custom sms (messaging: new text message) sound? I can use custom sounds for ringtones, but not for sms... I tried copying files of different types to \windows, where the other media files reside that appear in the notificationsounds list, but the lists doesn't expand with the added files!! How life would be so perfect if I can use custom sounds!!

How life would be so perfect if I can use custom sounds!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just copied some wav's into the windows directory, then they were available as sms tones. Not wma's or mp3's though, unless I'm missing something.
