Guest ScottS Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 (edited) Hi Guys, Yesterday I had a cool idea. I wanted to be able to stream music files stored in a directory on my hard drive to WMP10 on my C550. I have my phone connected to my PC via bluetooth and I installed IIS (Internet Information Services) on my PC. I then right-clicked on the music folder in Windows Explorer and turned on IIS Sharing. I can now access my music folder (on the PC) from my C550 through internet explorer. My only problem with this is that when you click on a music file to stream it, it doesn't come up like normal windows does asking if you want to open it or download it. The only option is to download it. Does anyone know of an option/reg edit for IE to allow me to open the file instead of save it. TiA Scott P.S. I've also IIS shared the folder on my PC which contains all my smartphone stuff so I can access/install CAB files etc without having to copy them through ActiveSync! Edited October 9, 2005 by ScottS
