Guest vedtom Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I don't know if sombebody was thinking about a webserver app for smartphone but surely would be useful, especially that would run over port 80 (wap).I have one on my pc, is cool because I can up/download enything using my phone ower wap.If I would have a soft like this on my phone friends could download apps, pics, or enything else directly to their phones or inverse. Is this possible?ideas?
Guest SinisterJunkie Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 I think the fact that your phone would have to be always online, would make this unlikely. It would be better to have a server that you could upload and down load from your phone.
Guest argh Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Almost all GPRS access is via NAT too, so I'm not sure if you would be able to accept incoming connections.
Guest Tech Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 not really a great idea but it is possible you need WM5 to really take advantage of this you can access the net etc... if you set up Activesync usin a pass through connection an havin a bluetooth connection makes it even more acceptable! ;)
