Is there a way to get my C550 to use my home PC/Broadband/dialup connection for www browsing instead of running up the mobile phone bill? Either wire or wirefree would do.

Connect your C550 to your pc using activesync, then on your spv click start, settings, more, data connections, then change internet connection to pass through connection and wap connection to pass through connection. Then you can browse thr internet using your pc's ISP.

Hope this helps.

You have to share your internet connection on your pc! You can find the option under advanced when select your internet connection.

Do you have a proxy server at your work? (In IE go to Tools->Internet Options->Connections->LAN Settings to find out)

If you do have one then in ActiveSync go to File->Connection Settings and tell it to connect via your work connection.

Yes, you must connect to activesync over Bluetooth, there're plenty of articles on modaco explaining how
