Orange Spv C500 Help

Hi,

I have just tried to play my SKYDIVE AVI MOVIE which is 50 meg on BetaPlayer and the movie is very slow and skips. Any ideas? Do i need to get a better player for my fone? The movie can be found on www.lincroftonline.com.

OK, just tried going onto that site and it didn't exist (according to my browser anyway) so I'm flying a bit blind here! :o

The only times I've managed to get Betaplayer to skip is when I've got too much running in the background and the phone's having to do some major re-sizing on the fly. To solve these, make sure no other programs running (get SPTaskManager from www.binarys.com if you haven't already), and re-size the video on your PC before you transfer it over to your phone (Windows Media Encoder if you have to, or PocketDivxEncoder for preference).

Once you've got either of these sorted, your videos should be perfect! Also, make sure you're using the most up to date Betaplayer (now called The Core Pocket Media Player) as Picard is always making minor tweaks to it. Incidentally, if you're looking for a better media player for your C500 - give it up now as TCPMP is the best! :(
