Guest Mr_Protozoa Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 I’m currently writing my product design, as part of this study I have chosen to investigate the application of fluid cooling technologies in computer systems, with the intent of designing new innovative products for computing enthusiasts. In order to gain an insight into the current market I have constructed a questionnaire to identify current trends and the rate of adoption. I would be grateful therefore if you could spare a few minutes to fill in the survey, it can be found here; http://FreeOnlineSurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?id=118049 If you have any questions or comments feel free to email me at [email protected]. Thanks, Chris Phelps
Guest furby Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 I think this is the wrong way around If you're currently using water cooling in your computer go to Question 11, if you are not using water cooling go to Question 12... Did my home pc and work one :o
Guest confused and hungover Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 There was an error on this page. The server administrator has been notified and will investigate.
Guest Mr_Protozoa Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 (edited) The server hosting the questionnaire went down yesterday, but it should be up and running again now. Although they've lost 70 of my results, which i'm rather upset about  The typo's been fixed too! Edited October 11, 2005 by Mr_Protozoa
Guest mupwangle Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 Why have you got Dell/Compaq as the same manufacturer rather than HP/Compaq?
Guest mike-oh Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 I'm no expert on this kind've thing, but when i was rummaging around in my Dell Dimension 8400 it aint got no ordinary heat sink. There what can best be described as 3 or 4 narrow copper pipes going to/leaving the CPU and dissapearing up into a radiator encased in a plastic green housing. Now to me i'd say it was water cooled. What say any of you guys? Do i need to post pics? Does anyone care? Is anyone still reading this post? Anyhow, i got halfway through your survey but since this is a factory fitted system half of your questions weren't relevant :o .....oh well i've completed it as best I can with what i know!
