Guest declanafc Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 I only owned the eten m500 for 2 days before i had to return it, everytime i brought up a menu, there was a ghosting appearing across the screen. I also wasn't impressed by the ear piece sound quality, crackled. Before i get a replacement i have a question or wo i need help with.. Does this thing work with any remote control software, i only tried griffin remote but read elsewhere it won't work with any remote programs Does the backup battery go down while your using the phone, as both batteries seem to go down at the same time..

But I can confirm I've not had my backup battery go down at all, even though my main battery has run out a few times. I agree with your comment on the earpiece sound quality, too.

I agree with your comment on the earpiece sound quality, too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have an Eten M600. The sound quality, I must agree, is not too good through the headphone supplied. I bought and adapter to change the jack plug from 2.5mm to a standard 3.5mm socket and with better headphones the sound is great. Apart from having to soft boot a few times I'm really happy with it. Don't suppose anyone knows of some software that will allow the text to go bigger, I have trouble reading the small print. That's what happens when you get older!
