Guest Chiz Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 (edited) I have searched but not found this mentioned elsewhere....sorry if it is. I have a C500. Activesync (not sure which version but it has not changed since Oct 04) has been working fine recently but now each time I connect (through the USB cable) I get three options about the Inbox. They are something along the lines of : - Combine the data on the device with the data on the machine - Replace the data on the device with the data on the machine - Do not sync this information at this stage. Each time I connect I have to select one of these tick boxes prior to anything else happening. Has anyone else come across this or know how I can correct it? Guest Confucious Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 You get this with a new connection if the phone has not synced before. Which option do you take? If you take the 3rd option it will probably ask you each time until you take one of the other options.

Depending on whether I have added anything new on the device I either choose option 1 (if I have), or 2 (if I haven't). I never choose 3 as I guessed it would never get resolved. I did go into the settings the other day as it kept taking a while to sync. Does anyone know if there is anything in there that could cause this? I haven't got access to it at the moment to check. Guest Confucious Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Strange. In AS on the PC delete the partnership then it should ask you to set up a new one next time you connect and it *should* be OK after that. Good luck
