Spv C500 Cannot Be Upgraded To Latest Rom

Hello,

I have an Orange SPV C500 (dont know too much about these phones because i have it for two days, but I will try to provide as much info as possible).

I tried to upgrade it to latest rom provided by orange (uk) but it tells me invalid vendor id..

in my About menu on the phone i have this:

Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition

Version 4.21.1088 (Build 14217)

Radio Version 1337.0.32_0.03.18

ROM update versions:

Operator: 4.1.10.3

Manufacturer: 1.1.10.130

Microsoft : 4.21.14217.0

Language: 1.1.10.130

File System: 4.21.14217.0

On the bootloader (i assume its the bootloader or flashing menu.. the three colours one RGB) i have

RED Typhoon IPL 1.00

GREEN Typhoon SPL 1.01.0130

BLUE Typhoon

I have tried both the Qtek update and the Orange one and neither works.I know im new to this so i might be doing something wrong... can anyone give me a hand? Thank you
