I stumbled across a link to this site on a cycling forum of all places, opened it up and look there's a T-Mobile Smartphone, so I thought I'd post it, for those other people out there who sometimes like to go camping, and hate the fact tents don't have wall sockets to plug your charger in.

I remember Will having one a few years back for the original SPV, it used AA 1.5v batteries instead of a single 9v

What about the wiring diagram to go with it ? lots of accessory dealers sell a rechargable for nokias using four AAA's should be a piece of cake [or perhaps bunny awarner] to re-wire one using a USB cable.

Appollollogies, missed the link on the first post :oops: and after reading the comments on the page, decided that four AAA's is a better answer than a 9v battery

;) I'm really glad I'm not the only one to do that.

I've opted for a 4AA unit for mine as I've got a dynamo powered battery charger for my bike which takes these. Now when I go on a cycling tour I can charge my batteries and use my phone.

I might even try a dynamo to USB connector as the dynamo puts out a stabilised

6V.
