Guest thewitney Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Hi, I have smart explorer on my C500 now and for the first time I've been able to send a file via bluetooh! :o BUT, there is no option to recieve? Is this because I haven't paid for the full software or does it not contain this option anyway? Thanks

Thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> so long as you have "recieve incoming beams" ticked in the settings menu (i forget where) then, when someone tries sending you stuff through bluetooth you wll be prompted to accept the data and possibly to input an access code. Hope this Hels M

Guest thewitney Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Hello again, The above advice worked. My next problem is!! When a file was transfered to my c500 via bluetooth (both pic and sound file) my phone asked me if I wanted to save the file. I clicked yes on both occasions and now cannot find either of these files anywhere!! Frustrating. Any ideas please?
Guest Mint_FRST Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Whenever i do this the file is in My Documents on the phone memory! Hope this helps Cheers

Guest ineedananswerquick Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I don't know how to send files via Bluetooth, though I have downloaded and added SmartExplorer to my phone, could someone explain please?
Guest thewitney Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Yes, when looking at my phone on my pc through active sync I can see the files in my documents. They do not appear when I look in my phone though. This is because when I look in my phone it only shows the folders within my documents and the files don't automatically go into a specific folder?
