Guest Disco Stu Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Hello again ;) There is no need to apologise. We cannot give this software to other members without permission from the developers - this will be stated in the end user licence agreement (EULA) which we agree to when we buy and install the product. Having said that, this particular application has not been mentioned on this forum for a long time and I am not aware of anyone who uses it nowadays. 2004/8/25 The world smallest smartphone. Typhoon and its variants are embedded with Cyberon voice dialing solution. 2004/8/20 Cyberon licensed its speaker-independent voice recognition solution to Chi-Mei Communication Systems (CMCS). 2004/8/1 Cyberon launches speaker-independent voice recognition solution on Symbian Series 60 platform. http://www.cyberon.com.tw/news.htm When you look at the website it would seem that Cyberon stopped selling this product and licenced it to the handset manufacturers for inclusion in the operating systems. Most Smartphones have voice recognition in one form or another for dialling contacts although these usually need you to record the voice tags first. However there are now some alternatives that you can try that may be more sophisticated : http://www.vitotechnology.com/en/products/...smartphone.html http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDet...174572&R=174572 The leader in this field though is Microsoft's Voice Command which is the only application which will also allow you to start programs and control them by voice alone. Unfortunately this is only available for Pocket PC devices at this time : http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/dow...nd/default.mspx Finally, your English is excellent :D
Guest Alian Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 HI! Thanks Disco for reply . At least I stoped searching for something which is not present . I do really wana use MS Voice command but i have spv E200 So ....! Anyway once again thanks and this time for telling me that my english is excellent 8) Anybody have any idea of upcoming of such software or when microsoft is releasing MS voice command for smartphones ?
Guest argh Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 However there are now some alternatives that you can try that may be more sophisticated<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pity that they have less functionality than Cyberon Voice Commander ;) Cyberon could start applications, read out SMS etc. as well as do the voice dialling like Fonix. I did find Fonix a little more accurate but Cyberon had a lot going for it. I'm surprised that Fonix hasn't attempted to add the extra functionality in their new version. Is there any more news on Microsoft Voice Command for Smartphone? It looked like it was coming out for Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone a while back, then all went quiet.
