Extra Bass Modification

Has anybody tryed THIS BASS MOD for mpx200 from "ak73 pro a" or know anything about it? It looks pretty easy to do (soder 4 connections). I just was wondering if anybody knows if the phone will work after the mod, if the mod does what it says, and if the mod drains your battery super fast. If anybody has any information about this hack PLEASE post.

i cant remember much about it but there was a tweak in the reg to change the bass, it may be worth looking into

I've already done the reg tweak. The bass got no better though, doing the bass mod or getting a cmoy headphone preamp is my last option... Which would you guys recommend
