M500 Strange reboots!

Over the last week i have noticed that my M500 has started to reboot.

the first strange thing i noticed is that Tom Tom would just turn off. it would go back to the home screen. if i started Tom Tom again the little hand symbol would move along the bar at the bottom (where the screen flip icon is) after a 4 hour roud trip it would almost be at the end! (right hand side).

then last week it rebooted the device. now the device will just reboot or i could put it on charge and it will boot . as if it has been off!

this happend twice yesterday. the starnge thing is the lights are flashing and u put it on charge and then it boots.

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it is getting abit frustrating.

any ideas?

Unfortunately only thing I can think of is a hard reset which will require you to reinstall all apps (u'll lose all sms, etc and need to backup your contacts).

If that doesn't resolve it then you'll definately need to send it back...

There is a fix file on this....look on the usual places for 5.1 poi fix

I have tried that as well, but still keeps dropoing to 'today' screen. Haven't had any soft resets yet.
