Keypress "beep" sound gone

Hi everyone,

A couple of days ago, I was transferring a 7MB MP3 file to my smartphone when halfway through ActiveSync froze. So I had turn off/on the phone and restart my system for everything to work again.

After that point, the "beeping" sound that is triggered when a key on the numpad is pressed, is gone. I've looked through the settings and ran Airscanner AV and everything seems to be fine.

The sound in general works perfectly, I just would like to get the "beep" tone back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In settings -> sounds, check the Keypad Control setting.

Mine sometimes loses the beeping for just a minute. It's like it has too much else to think about and forgets to beep for keypresses. It only lasts a few seconds, then the beeping is back. Strange..
