Can MP3's be split into Albums on the C500 ?

Hi guys.

I have a 512Mb SanDisk card in my SPV C500 and have copied lots of folders full of MP3's into the MyDocuments folder of my MiniSD card, but when I look at the Playlist in Media Player it shows all of the tracks rather than the tracks in their respective albulms (folders).

I'd like to find a way round this as I was going to buy a 1Gb MiniSD card to replace the 512Mb so that I can use it as a full on MP3 player.

Do you have WMP10? If so (and provided your ID3 tags are correct) you should be able view by artist, album or genre.

That could be it as I'm still on WMP9.

I can't find v10 on the net though. Any ideas on where to look for a download?

You won't find it on its own, it's included as part of a ROM upgrade - the latest Orange UK one has it for example.

OK, tried a ROM upgrade to v4.1.1.4 which I downloaded from the Orange UK website, but I'm still running WMP9

Hmmm either your ROM upgrade didn't work or you downloaded an old version. There are two ROMs with WMP10 (for Orange UK) 4.2.1.1 and 4.2.1.2 - I can't see either on the Orange site at the moment, but you can try this link.
