Guest Disco Stu Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 I've installed the latest Betaplayer - now known as (deep beath...) The Core Pocket Media Player - along with the mpeg codec addon and suggest this is 'better' because of the wider range of formats (I believe) it will play. However I will inevitably take a good look at the new Pocket TV as it is an old favourite and always solidly built. There is no difference in the ease of installation although with Pocket TV you have to get the free registration key. And so in conclusion I would say : "Get both" :D ;)

Guest Confused Stu Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Sorry to stick my nose in, but why would you want to use up space installing both PocketTV and TCPMP? TCPMP does everything PocketTV does (which I used lots before I found Betaplayer) and more, and I've never had TCPMP or Betaplayer crash on me despite using every "unstable" Beta version they've come out with!! ;) I'm not meaning to have a go, but I'd install only TCPMP and use the space saving for an extra porn video!
