M500 Bluetooth internet connection

Hi,

Just got my hands on an SPV m500.

Please could someone help with setting up the m500 so i can connect to my broadband internet connection on my pc via bluetooth.

There are several threads with full details, but basically you need to Activesync with your PC via the Bluetooth. From memory:

- Switch Bluetooth on with the M500

- Go into Start, Settings, System, Bluetooth Setting

- Click the Start button.

- Now pair with your PC via the phone

- Think you may need to restart the phone and PC here, but not sure!

- On the phone, go into Activesync, and then Tools amd Options

- Select the target PC from the drop-down (if more than one) and click Options

- In the drop-down select Bluetooth. If it's not there you'll have to find a full guide cos I must've missed something!

- OK back to the Activesync screen and then select Tools and Connect Via Bluetooth

- Hopefully that should start it syncing, then just open Pocket IE and it should use your PC's connection rather than GPRS (unless you've changed some of the connection settings to tell it otherwise).

Like I said, you might well need a full guide as it's been a long time since I set this up. Now I just open Activesync and select Connect via Bluetooth each time.
