Theres a .wav knocking around Outlook XP I believe for the new mail notification, similar to the default one but more "echoy".

Could anyone who has this post a link to it/e-mail it/pm me please, i'm wanting it for my mail notification ;)

...why don't you go for the aol "you've got mail" (try google for it!)? its so smart when you got sms/mail and your phone starts speaking....

cheers, lutz

Because that's tacky. The Outlook one is more, sophisticated.

And i will stick by that.

I got Homer simpson "oooh ooooh it's the mail, the mail"

pure class, can't remember where from, a thread on this forum lead me to a site with loads of cool wav's,

I also got a Monty Python Holy Grail caption (sound of arrow through air, hits a tree, chap says "message for you sir" - simply brilliant. Sorry if you can't remember the clip, but if you have you'll know what I mean.

Cheers, Shire

There's alot of us holy grail fans here

but remember "it could grip it by the husk" reply "It's not a question of where he grips it, it's a simple question of weight ratio" ;)

I was using the Monty Python 'message for you' until it went off right next to me while watching the Mothman Prophecies - the arrow noise is not the best thing to hear during the phone call bit of the film . Scared the sh*t out of me. Anyway now i use a tone which is easier on my heart
