Guest bogardan Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 If TI83/84 can do it, why cann't our smartphone do it too ?? Of course don't use directional to play it (it will be crazy to do that), but rather we can use the keypad ... that would be awesome ... btw we have to skip many of the "2 button" key as our phone have trouble doing that :D I need to slim down my thumb LOL :D Anybody up to the challenge ?? Sound and colorful background is a big welcome ;)

Guest muff Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 it is a project I'm currently looking at
Guest nausea Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 it is a project I'm currently looking at <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I made a "proof of concept" game of that style but I couldnt get it working the way I intended. One problem I ran into is that some phones only allow you to press one button at a time which limits the complexity of the game play (atleast for the way my version was intended to play). Another problem is that different phones have different button layouts, sizes, and 'feels.' So one level would be easy on a phone with big, easy to press, buttons but much harder on a phone with small stiff buttons.
