Hey,

I found this forum the other day - it's great - so I'm absolute newbie to this forum.

Looking at the shop I found the following;

Socket SIDO Wireless LAN Card

Here comes my stupid question - will this work with an Orange SPV C550?

Also what is the difference between SIDO and SIDO NOW?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I'm new to this and I'm hoping to get the C550 sometime next week so any advice will be appreciated!

Unfortunately no, that won't work on the C550. It uses the mini-sd cards and that is and SD.

The SD slot is under the battery as well so even the mini-sd one which appeared on the forum won't fit. And to totally kill any hope you have, I'm not sure there are even any working drivers for sd-io on smartphone (or even if the hardware supports it)

I know I could have just said no but I was feeling in a particularly crushing mood.
