Guest shawfield Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 On nokia phones etc, when you realise that predictive text has used a word you did not intend, you can move the cursor back to the word which gets highlighted automatically & then you scroll through the available words & correct it. I cant make this happen on my smartphone C500, although I pressed a button accidentally today & it highlighted a word ! Because I did it by accident I dont know which key combination highlights words for correction. Any ideas ? cheers
Guest Brins0 Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Yes, i have noticed this as well... On Symbian 60 phones there was also a 'pencil' btton which you could hold down tocopy and paste text, but this feature is missing, from what is obviously a much more powerful phone... odd really I found myself, that this is a major problem, especially with 'in' and 'go'... Maybe there is a tool available for this, i'll have a look, but i'm still new to all this...
Guest rodg98133 Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 On my C500 I just scroll back to the word, sometimes I have to re write it, then leave it for a second then i get a box that comes up and i scroll to either select the word or select add a word. You must be in T9 mode to do this though. You can change mode by pressing the * key when entering text. Hope this helps!! ;)
