you can just stick the mp3 into the \windows\rings folder and it will just work ;)

Hi, I've got an M1500 too, and I managed to set MP3's as my ringtone by using the file explorer to find the file, click and hold so the menu appears and selecting "set as ringtone"

you can also set personal ringtones for particualar contacts by using the photo contacts program.

reaperman this has been doin my head in too. put ringo on my m500 but it wouldnt play a ring tone only the sms tone. thanks to you i can finally but sumthin decent on my fone!

on my Jam putting the file i want into rings under windows works fine...

i dont get "set as ringtone" if i drop the menu down from a file...
