TomTom on C500

I'm having some problems with a C500 and TomTom Mobile 5. I have been using TomTom fine on my old E200 for a while, but I'm trading phones and was looking at a C500 (or maybe a C550 if I am sure I can get TomTom working).

A friend already has a C500, so I thought I would be able to drop my memory card into his phone and start Tomtom to make sure it all ran fine. It seems to start OK, but then just crashes when I select GB from the map list.

Has anyone seen this before, or do I need to keep hold of my E200 :cry:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By crashing it should be asking for the activation code.

You should not have any problems with TomTom5 and the C500

But unless you have a pirate copy you will have to contact TomTom

and request a new activation code for your new phone when you get it.
