Best Rom for c500

Hi,

I currently have the latest Orange Rom on my phone.

I have read various threads on C500 owners downloading other Roms and replacing the Orange Rom on their phones.

What is the best Rom suitable for the C500?

PS I have ditched Orange and now have signed with 02 (better reception at home), so would like to have a network neutral phone!

I have the Qtek rom installed, runs a bit faster and everything works with my Vodafone sim like gprs and other stuff, plus the menus seem a little quicker.

Could anyone tell me what the 'qtek' rom is please,im a little confused,and is it available for spv c500?sorry if this is stupid,im new to all this technical stuff ;)

Orange sell the HTC Typhoon as the SPV C500 - QTek sell it as the 8010. Basically the same device but without the operator branding.

The latter's operating system updates are usually freely available, whereas (eg) iMate require one of their IMEI numbers to be registered before you can get access to it.

The website is something like www.qtek.nu and, unless you speak Danish or Norwegian, you'll need to put a little effort in to find the download link. It's not that hard really ;)
