Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 Hi, If your phone is not responding to keypad inputs then sad to say that the only way to reset is by pulling out the battery. Then if you frequently encounter 'freezing' for no reason, my suggestion is to have your phone undergo a hard reset. Take note that a hard reset process will erase all phone data, then re-writes the OS and other phone configuations to give you a 'fresh' phone after. The chance of experiencing 'freeze' times on a freshly hard reset device is slim unless you are using a really faulty/buggy ROM. The secret to minimizing 'freeze' time in any phone (even the SP2002) is to effectively manage your sytem resources (free RAM). I make it a habit to close unwanted programs from running in the background using a task manager.
