Guest andyhud Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 Morning all, Now I'm sure I'm not the only one in this scenario 1. Use a PocketPC and sync with Exchange 2003 locally and 'over-the-air' 2. Have subfolders in my "inbox" in my normal Desktop Outlook (Outlook 2003) 3. Sync some of the subfolders to my pocketpc (which of course works fine) 4. Have rules setup (serverside) which automatically route mail from certain people to certain subfolders. 5. BUT, Activesync on the PocketPC does not notify "Unread" emails if they are in the subfolders. Only mail that is in the root level "inbox" I have seen people with the same problem but no one has ever found a solution. I'm running WM2003SE, Win2003Srv and Exchange 2003 SP2. Any thoughts, or even 3rd Party apps that might get around this? Kind regards Andy
Guest fraser Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I have the same issue using IMAP, so it's not an active sync issue, just Pocket Outlook itself. Never looked for a solution though, just learned to live with it. ;). It doesn't bother me much, I'm on a few mailing lists that always have new messages, so I'm used to going in to the subfolders.
