No sound when playing mp3 with Media Player

My e200 plays the ringtones ok and the beeps on button presses but nothing when using the media player to play mp3s. I've also tried Betaplayer and again, no sound. Anyone know what I need to do to correct this?

Could you try this CAB file:

MP3.RT.Fix.cab

It will re-associate MP3 files to WMP. I hope it will work on your phone. ;)

I have similar problems. Sound suddenly doesn't work. My MP3 ringtone and the key tones still work. But music from WMP10 or TCPMP doesn't work.

Also, the volume up and down on my left side of my 02 Xphone IIm doesn't respond. ANy ideas? The above solution didn't seem to help. ;)

May I know what was wrong actually? Cause I'm puzzled how this happened in the first place :D.

Oh, before I tried the CAB file, I managed to get media player playback by setting the use system volume in TCPMP settings. Just in case anyone else experiences similar problem.

Im glad it worked! ;)

Homescreen which skins the volume dialog is one cause. Also, manually modifying the volume dialog registry keys might result into such an issue.
