text message storage on c500

can anyone tell me where the text messages are stored on the c500 & is it possible to find them using windows explorer & convert to text or excel file format.

SMS are stored in CEmail.vol

There are numerous applications that can do what you ask, these range from paid softeare like SMSCool from AIM to freeware apps like SMS2Mail
