gif screensavers on c500

i was on the mobile9 site and they had some screensavers listed for c500 but they were gif files. how do i use them on a c500? pocket candy doesnt work very well on my phone (doesnt load all screensavers) and as far as i know Dockware doesnt support gif.

P.s. is there anyway to change the zoom function on the camera to support 4x? i only seem to get 1x on camera and 2x on video even though it lists up to 4x.( and why is the video zoomed in more on 1x than on the camera?)

In response to the zoom question, it is digital zoom, which basically means that if you were to zoom in 2x, you would only be getting quarter the resolution of the camera (1/2 the resolution in each direction).

The C500 therefore doesn't let you zoom in at 640x480 (as it would have to make up information that wasn't there to fill in the extra pixels - the full camera resolution is 640x480).

At 320x240, you can zoom in 2x.

At 160x120, you can zoom in 2x or 4x.

The same applies to the video (although I'm not sure why it only zooms in to 2x at 128x96 - just a quirk, I guess).

Digital zoom just means you're not using the full camera sensor. Cameras that let you perform digital zoom at full resolution are just kidding you by making up information that isn't really there.
