Oh no, pzee is not banned at MoDaCo. It is just that today, our good Admin Team granted my name change request from pzee to gpcarreon. Thought of posting a topic about it here to avoid confusion and chaos ;)

Now, why 'gpcarreon' ? Nothing special. Just the first letter of my real name (a long hyphenated name: Gerard-Peter), my middle initial and my family name.

So thats about it with the name change. I will surely miss that 'pzee' MoDaCo nick. :|

Well u had me confused for a moment there. Was worrying what we'd do without ya and wondering where this new mod with so many posts had sprung from without me without me noticing! :oops:

I did something similar to come up with my nic except its surname first (Pond - ok, stop laughing!) followed by the latter part of my given first name (Andrew). And before anyone asks, no I didn't come up with it, folks seemed to independently conjure it out of nowhere back in my uni days...

Pondrew sounds nice. :D

I was already planning of a name change request last month to get rid of the out-of-this-world 'pzee' nick. pzee was just a name that popped my mind back in 2003 when I registered here at MoDaCo. I guess it served a lesson for me that when you register at a forum, choose at least a sound nick. ;)

i think changing of handle into gpcarreon is nice coz this is what he uses on other site (airfagev).

for me, using 2 or more handles is confusing especially when logging in to pc that's not yours. i have problems in memorizing my passowrd. ;)
