Guest brianc500 Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 Hi all, Well I have gone and done it, Changed network and Phone, step back the trusty SPV C500, Step forward Xda Exec, Now this new phone takes some getting used to after the simple system on the SPV. The only thing I cant seem to get to work on the Xda is the keyboard backlight, I have been into Settings, Buttons, Backlight, and ticked the Enable keyboard backlight auto sensor, oked it but it still dont work. Am I missing something or not? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks all. ;)
Guest davidgweeden Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I found the same thing an issue. Sometimes the backlight only seems to work in extreme darkness, i.e. one day when i was tying a message in bed with the lights turned off ;) Hi all, Well I have gone and done it, Changed network and Phone, step back the trusty SPV C500, Step forward Xda Exec, Now this new phone takes some getting used to after the simple system on the SPV. Guest Pondrew Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Welcome to the forum davidgweeden! ;) You guys do both realise that the XDA Exec uses a light sensor to only turn on the keyboard backlight in dark conditions? This is a common feature on all the modern Windows Mobile Smartphones and Pocket PC Phones...
