Deleting Filter in Contacts?

Does anyone know how to delete an unused Filter in Contacts?

My phone came with three pre-set filters: "Personal" "Business" and "Misc"

I made new categories within Outlook and these then showed up as new Filters on my SP after I synced it with my PC. But the old unused Filters are still there. I would like to delete them as they just clutter up the menu.
