hi all, i recently obtained a c500 from a friend who had his orignal phone replaced by orange. the unit is therefore new. i went to try the camera out and it was rather sketchy, at first certain areas of light were pixelated and the picture was a slight green. so i started frantically searching forums for answers, i then tried my camera again, to my suprise it was fine and i took a few snaps to prove it. however whilst the camera was on it then flashed pink and now all my pictures are pixelated and pink :?: i carried out a hard reset hoping for this to solve the problem but the camera still see pink, any ideas, different software/update? i find it especially strange that the camera has worked, it would be easy to say it was broke but it has 'switched' itself back to being ok once

attatched are 3 photos showing the phones progression from orignal, to when things went 'fine' and then how they are now.

Try adjusting the the JPEG options and also the ambience, I've noticed everything is quite red on my pictures if I leave the ambience set to auto, nothing as bad as your pictures though.

Hope that is some help to you.

Possibly a loose connection to the board? Failing that a knackered CCD. Remove the aeriel cover and **gently** push down to the left and slightly above the camera lense and see if that makes a difference.

What is the warranty status of this phone?

as regards the warrenty the phone is still covered, does this mean i can get it fixed for free, are there any charges at all and how long does it normally take? its just the phone soooo good apart from the camera i dont know if i can be bothered, its just one of those things that id always think.... hmmm that would be a could picture, oh wait my cameras broke ;)
