Guest Landyman Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 I have heard that someone spoke to a level 2 tech supervisor and was informed that Nextel/Sprint/Motorola/Microsoft is working on releasing a patch that will decert the i930. All estimates on a release time are within 30 days. =D> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sprint has a patch.... requires SIM+IMEI+Cell# and they send it over the air. http://developer.sprint.com/ Look for Nextel Privledged Certficate in the posts. The question is, once they unlock it, what policies must be set so that they can't change it back? They say they will send an unlock for 2 months at a time. If it's application unlocked, can they the older version of Sprite backup be installed and run to place an older rev image of the software on the phone? I'm starting my research now but wondered if anyone already knows what needs to be done to keep it unlocked. Kevin
