C500 > C550

I've just upgraded from a C500 to a C550. Is it possible to transfer all of my text messages stored on my C500 to the C550. If it is, what's the easiest way of doing it?

Hi .. I was having a similar problem trying to transfer from spv500 to another spv500 as my keypad had died.

After much faffing and wrong turns I downloaded a free trial at http://www.jeyo.com/companion.asp

I then connected my phone and imported all texts from old phone to software package.. saved that file to my docs.. plugged in new phone and imported all text messages from the saved doc back onto my phone..

seems like a fair fix and is still importing as I typed my 300 odd messages.

didn't cost anything either!!

Transfer everything from your MAPI folder in storage to the same folder on your c550. Should work.
