OK, heres my story.

I ordered off the dreadful phones2udirect who were saying "IN STOCK" and then about 10 hours later i got an email saying they were out of stock and wont have any in for 2 weeks...... and they still say "IN STOCK".

I now have made an order for QTEK8310 with discountgpsdirect.co.uk with the order title

"1 x QTEK 8310 SMARTPHONE WITH BUILT IN CAMERA - IN STOCK ON 26/10".

But that has now changed too

"1 x QTEK 8310 SMARTPHONE WITH BUILT IN CAMERA - IN STOCK ON 8/11" and i have no idea if i am getting one or not, coz if i have to wait, im cancelling my order.

SP5 - Mobile Fun - 9/11

SP5 - Expansys 3/11

SP5 - phones2udirect - IN STOCK - JOKE !!!!!

QTEK 8310 - EasyDevices.co.uk - Over 2 weeks (i called)

QTEK 8310 - discountGPSdirect - 8/11

Does anywhere have the QTEK or teh SP5 in stock ?

I dont think so.

I think it's worth just cancelling any orders and waiting for stocks to come in on reliable sites.

My order is with phones2udirect but they've not even confirmed anything other than the original mail, they're supposed to tell you within 12 hours if an item isn't in stock. I'm thinking the order has gone missing, they've not replied to my email.

Anyway, another place having a girrafe is smartdevices, no mention of in or out of stock lol:

http://www.smartdevicesdirect.com/product_...products_id=946

Their site says in the FAQ that each page lists info on stock, does it hell.

Im having the same painful moving stock date trouble.

I ordered an SP5 from expansys. Still waiting.

It wouldnt be so bad if the expected delivery dates didnt keep increasing.

So frustrating.

Hi everyone!

I'm from Russia, and we also all waiting for miracle.

Same crap in ALL online shops - "In stock on 20.10", "In stock on 26.10". Last date was November 15.

All orders have "waiting" status.

Whats happend with HTC?

Sorry for my English folks ;)

expansys reports on their website they will have stock in 2 days.

PLUS they have increased their price to £340! Now that is a greedy company taking advantage of their customers.

I think the big problem is at the moment stock is just being delayed.

I know in the case of the MoDaCo Shop they were promised QTek units an age ago, and they keep getting put back a week beyond their control...

yes, but just because they are finally expecting them in, doesn't make it right to increase the price.

Do what i did :

I just put my money down on one place and waited.

I would recomend Mobilefun.co.uk.

They were very honest when i phoned them up and even surprised me when they emailed me saying it was out of stock, then emailed again saying i had been allocated one, and it arrived next day.

Great phone. Has its bugs, but the pros far outway the cons.

Phones2udirect here, they came good in the end and they were selling em a smidgen over 300 quid.

No problems, turned up next day delivery as promised, website is misleading tho.

yes, phones2udirect is the cheapest I seen.

I did place my order with smartdevices and was told they were in stock, but got a dissapointing phone call later that day telling me they made a mistake and it was only the SP5m which was in stock.

Are these any good - am thinking of dumping Orange and going with their O2 offer for the SP5?

Edit

Took the plunge and signed up with them - not even a whimper from Orange when I requested a PAC code - been with them 10 years. No idea when the C600 was going to become available and wasn't prepared to meet any other networks prices

O2 200 + 100 400 + 200 Text (Promotion)    £30.00

o2 Pay Monthly SIM Card    £0.00

 FREE CONNECTION    £0.00

 Free Insured Delivery £0.00

 £40 Cashback   £0.00

O2 Double Talk And Text   £0.00

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I-Mate SP5    £0.00

 O2 Treats    £0.00

 3 Months Free Insurance    £4.99

Phones2udirect are the cheapest but their service was awful.

I got mine off mobilefun (excellent service) and they matched the price of phones2udirect.

Cheers ;)

I got mine from phones2UDirect but I had to wait a week as I requested my number to be ported as I already had a PAC number ;)

Only improvements for them is that I wish their email replies could be faster :D
