Guest soodek Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 With the keypad of my SMT5600 locked, I can answer calls by pushing any button. I want to disable that function, so I need to press the ACCEPT SoftKey. Any idea how to do this? Thanks.

All keys are disabled except the left softkey, except when the phone is locked; then all are available to answer calls. That more than defeats the benefits of locking the phone.

May be worth double checking the settings, as my 5600 works correctly and only the answer button and the Accept Call soft key will pick up the call when the keypad are locked and using the setting I mention above. Make sure that the Any key answer box is unchecked.
