Well after nearly a month now I'am still awaiting my i-mate SP5

I have looked further into this and all online retailers (including Modaco Shop) seem to have this 10 - 14 days figure that doesnt actually seem to be decreasing. This applies to all the HTC based devices in its class.

This is very frustrating as I've already waited six months for the wifi enabled smartphones to hit the market.

By the time I actually get mine, a pocket pc phone around the same size as the SP5 with in-built wifi running Windows Mobile 5 will have been released, completely spoiling my anticipation.

So come on HTC, make more and faster.

Likewise I have been waiting for a car capable of 90mph and 50mpg powered by water alone.

HTC *are* bringing out new devices, and quite quickly. Stock issues at the shops is a different matter. In some ways limited stock availability (such as virtually none in this country) drives up demand, but IMO you have to cut them some slack - after all who else is developing these devices?

Patience young padawan. Good things coming they are.
