Guest snax Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 Is it possible or virable to rip dvd's to my c500, via my laptop? If so how would i do this? I have tried a program called smart ripper, but can't get the aspi layer installed on my computer, and I don't relly know what i'm doing!
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 I'm not a laptop owner but try this guide in the Articles section : http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...cketdivxencoder Also try putting 'pocketdivxencoder' into the search engine here for countless threads discussing the subject. You would need the excellent & free TCPMP to play them : http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about ;)
Guest Tech Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 it does not matter about the ASPI driversm just ignore it but make sure that you have played the DVD using your DVD playback software for a few minutes to allow it to decrypt the DVD once done, then run smartripper (ignore the ASPI driver warning) then rip! once done, you can convert it to MPEG/AVI/WMV format using video editing tools like virtualdub/TMPGEnc
