smt5600 and roaming problem w/ manual select

Hey guys. On my smt5600 with an At&t sim card the only network i ever go to is At&t wireless. My old ngage used to connect to the cingular one around here where i live and the reception was always perfect. Now that i dont swith between the two im stuck with the crummy at&t network. When i manual select cingular (310410) it says im roaming. My ngage never said i was roaming.

Is there anyway to fix this?
